Paneer Tikka

Soft cottage cheese cubes marinated and grilled to perfection.

  1. Cut paneer into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, oil, and salt.
  3. Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them evenly. Let it marinate for at least 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  4. Meanwhile, chop the bell pepper and onion into chunks.
  5. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) or use a grill.
  6. Alternate paneer cubes with bell pepper and onion pieces on skewers.
  7. Place the skewers on a baking tray lined with foil and bake for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through.
  8. The paneer should be slightly charred and the vegetables cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute before removing from skewers.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with mint chutney.
